Optimum Design of an Electric Vehicle Charging Station Using a Renewable Power Generation System in South Korea

In the context of global warming and fossil fuel depletion, electric vehicles (EVs) have become increasingly popular for reducing both carbon emissions consumption. However, as demand EV charging power rises along with expansion EVs, conventional plants require more fuel, increase. This suggests that goal promoting adoption to mitigate climate change reduce reliance on fuels may face significant challenges. Therefore, there is a need adopt renewable energy generation stations maximize effectiveness distribution in an eco-friendly way. paper aims propose optimal system station, specific focus use actual load profile consideration economic evaluation, study case location Korea. As study, station Korea was selected, its fractions (REF) 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% were considered comparison evaluation help HOMER software. addition, 25% REF analyzed find best operating strategy considering characteristics site. The results show configuration PV/ESS most economical among all cases, including PV, WT, ESS, due meteorological site, below terms emissions.
